For those who have never seen a live cougar in the wild, this is an adventure of a lifetime. Because our operating area contains 60 miles of prime winter range on the Payette River , our cougar hunts are very successful. These big cats follow the game herds down the mountain and live on them during the winter months providing excellent hunting opportunities.

We cover these areas via 4x4, snowmobile, or on foot until we find a fresh track. Then we unleash our pack of Walker hounds to pursue and catch the animal. We have taken 5 BC cats the last 4 years and overall success has been 90% with 80% of that on mature toms in the last 10 years.
This is a great hunt with lots of wildlife viewing and sightseeing. These are 8 day hunts.
