ELK AND DEER HUNTS

Korell Outfitters offers two different types of hunts for elk and deer. Both take place in IDFG Unit 35. This is a road-less area so hunter densities are quite low.

Access to and from the camps are all by horseback and mule string. Camps are between 2 and 3 hour rides from the trail head, just far enough to get away from the foot hunters at the trail head but close enough to make for a enjoyable ride in.

Hunting from the camp is by foot or horseback, depending on the camp or time of season. Camps are 14 x 16 and 16 x 20 wall tents with carpet on the floor, cots, foams, chairs, tables, wood stove, and an outdoor shower. Hunters' success rates have been 75% for ten years.

The deluxe guided hunt is 7 days (6 full days hunting) and includes: guide, cook, field dressing, caping, food, and transportation of meat to locker. Hunter provides: personal gear, sleeping bag, rifle, ammo, license fees, taxidermy, meat processing, and shipment. License and tags can be purchase through the outfitter.

The dropcamp hunt is 7 days (6 full days hunting) and includes: complete furnished camp, pack in to camp and out, and game packed into trail head. Hunter provides: food, personal gear, capping, field dressing, meat processing, shipment, and license and tags. Transportation to and from Boise , Idaho airport can also be arranged for a $100 fuel fee.
